1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Air Training Corps, is the premier ATC squadron in Nottingham. Formed on 6th April 1941 the Squadron is celebrating it’s 70th Anniversary this year.

As an Air Cadet, you are presented with a range of opportunities that your friends may never have. Shooting, Flying, Adventure Training Camps and BTEC Awards. Fancy spending part of your weekend upside down at 6,000 ft? Well you can if you join us!

Beeston Air Cadet Squadron hold Winter Ball

1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, held their 4th Winter Ball on Saturday 10th December at the headquarters of the East Midlands Universities Officer Training Corps (EMUOTC) on Broadgate, Beeston with whom 1359 share the site.

1359 (Beeston) Squadron Honour the Fallen

Over 30 cadets along with staff from 1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, joined soldiers from Chetwynd Barracks, the Royal British Legion, Army Cadet Force and other local youth groups for a Remembrance Sunday parade through Beeston on Sunday 13th November.

Police Helicopter Visit for Beeston Air Cadets

The North Midlands Helicopter Support Unit (NMHSU) is based at the Derbyshire Constabulary HQ at Butterley Hall near Ripley and was the latest aviation unit to be visited by 1359 (Beeston) Squadron.

Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition for Beeston Cadets

The weekend of 1st and 2nd October saw 16 cadets from 1359 (Beeston) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, out on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions in Leicestershire. One group were completing their Bronze live and three other groups were doing their Bronze practice expedition.
